@SPURION Ahhh I actually didn't know about most of that, that's actually really interesting. I guess I somehow missed or misinterpreted the part that it said he's former SAS. I always thought it was up to the player to assume where he's from, with it not being explicitly stated in the game. My COD knowledge is also pretty spotty so I had a feeling I was wrong in a lot of aspects. Thanks for informing me about this stuff actually, appreciate it

@KRiS_815 It literally is on the wiki he is former SAS. Also, if you use noclip during Loose Ends. Roach is given a UK patch for his third-person model. Which in turn is entirely removed in the remaster. Also, its not stated at all whether SASR or NZSAS are apart of Task Force 141, Australian patches are just there.

Its also heavily implied by the next entry in the journal that Ghost and Roach were apart of One-One Team for Mile High Club as they were tested by Soap a page before. Gaz/Ghost's voice actor is present for that mission and there are nothing but British voices on your team. You are not explicitly playing as Soap yourself, you're playing a guy named "One-One Operative" which can easily be chalked up to be Roach's first mission as 141, as Ghost (Romeo One-One) is accompanying you on the mission.

SAS don't recruit foreigners and Roach was SAS before becoming 141, so Roach is British by that alone.

little thing for you there's a skin for Mil-Sim (USEF III) that gives the skin green features which you should look into acquiring the textures for to make this much more accurate! (i suck at explaining sorry, you'll know if u look into it)

@SPURION Oh oops I meant when he's in Task Force 141. We're only introduced to him while he's already in TF141 and 141 accepts people from all over the world. I ain't denying he was probably SAS before joining TF141 but he could be from anywhere as it's not explicitly stated. He might be Australian for all we know lmao. It's ambiguous as far as I know, might be wrong tho.

@SPURION Actually I think it's kinda ambiguous where Roach is actually from, I don't think it's explicitly stated. Although I might be horribly wrong and it probably IS stated somewhere, feel free to correct me. I always saw him as either from the US or maybe even Canada, just to differentiate him from the rest of the primarily SAS boys.
