Resuming issue from the original roguelike mod

Going into the invitation menu with the mod loaded causes the invitation menu to glitch out
and show a bunch of books with pierres kitchen thumbnail.
in this state i cant send invitation, or burn any books, essentially softlocking the game

Ive tried clearing cache (though it is unclear if i did it correctly, since when re installing the game, the progress made in the main campaign seems to be still carried over)
unsubscribing from all mods
turning off steam cloud
Verify integrity of game file
browsing local data and deleting all files

nothing worked,
