only thing that would make this more perfect was if you could manually select which hand you want to pose instead of aiming the tool gun ( if youve ever used Drive to reposition a ragdoll, you know why )

hmm. this is not for lazy people. I think this is very important to read and understand. for a moment I thought it's for proceduralbones but no. it's something else beyond my understanding.

I think the best thing to do is for creators to create face flexes to their models in the first place.
one important reason why is when you scale the head, you don't want any child bones to remain where it is. otherwise you'd be summoning a deficient baby demon.

A bone filter, it could be handy for all models that lack face flexes but instead they got bones for face posing.

So on the topic of neat ideas that could alleviate everyone's frustration when posing ragdolls, has anyone tried some sort of Bone Tool that filters face bones or selected bones for the lazy guys who refuses to give face flexes to their models? I've seen it on SFM, is it possible here?

So simple and yet so brilliant. I remember facing this problem back when I got into posing for a brief period, I didn't know about this fix so I had to pose fingers with ragdoll mover addon (though to be fair it was more convenient than controls in the finger poser)

go to GarrysMod > garrysmod > lua > vgui > fingervar.lua and then modify it using notepad and modify local MAX_ANGLE_X and local MAX_ANGLE_Y to 200 or whatever number you want and then save. Not that hard really
