ok

@burrowing bug
Try Bootcamp or whatever it is. Developing on Mac is kind of a proprietary nightmare.
burrowing bug 30 NOV a las 17:21
will there be a version for mac?
SeizedClod22 16 NOV a las 15:09
This is probably my fault, but when I clicked file > new i saw one of my anm2 files i'd worked on beforehand and thought "oh i could open anm2s from here", but when i tried "opening" it, the file was overwritten with no chance of me being able to recover it. I think there should be a warning or something before overwriting so there's less of a chance of this happening.

Released a new version! I spent way too much time on it. I know the interest has probably waned now but hey it's there.

neat refresh of the anm2 editor. however im gonna wait for it to become more stable before using again. it just crashed and for some reason the anm2 i was working on got corrupted or something. it doesn't have an extension name and i cant open it in the editor.

I found it, thank you:dip:
Shweet  [autor] 16 SEP a las 13:27
@Iamsleepingnow

Interpolation is within frame properties, but I didn't know about the alt+click toggling interpolation! For next release...
Iamsleepingnow 16 SEP a las 12:36
Very cool! How can I set the frame interpolation?
In Nacalis's version, which can click the frame with the alt key to set it. This option is in the Frame tag within the animation xml file.

Awesome, that seems to have done the trick!

On another note, I was wondering if there is a way to use the editor to export an animated costume image? The main problem here being that costumes consist of multiple parts (head, body). It would be of huge help if that was possible.

Keep up the good work!

@IsaacGuru

Just pushed an update for that! See "Use Animation Bounds" in Render Animation for what you're looking for. Make sure to set the Animation Preview background to transparent and toggle off Grid, Axes, Icons, etc.
Shweet  [autor] 15 SEP a las 5:48
@IsaacGuru

I'll add something later to be able to "snap" the canvas to the animation's size when rendering, but in the interim, you can check "Border" and press "Fit" to see how big the animation is and adjust the preview based on that.
IsaacGuru 15 SEP a las 5:24
This is great for exporting transparent .gifs however I noticed that even though the .gif appears normal, when you open it via a browser or Photoshop, the resolution is actually the full size of the Animation Editor's preview screen - it doesn't automatically crop out the transparent pixels. Is it possible to export only the portion of the screen needed? E.g. the 32x32 icon?
limbsonthefloor 15 SEP a las 4:39
@shweet

thanks for the help, didn't realize transparent exports were implemented!

does this work with siren xl
PixelPlz 15 SEP a las 2:10
great job siren xl guy
Shweet  [autor] 14 SEP a las 21:00
@limbusonthefloor

To export an animation with a transparent background (the one in the description is an example), set the Animation Preview background to transparent, and disable the axes/grid.

For outputting .pngs, you need to specify a directory, not a filepath!
limbsonthefloor 14 SEP a las 20:27
this is really cool!, i think it would be useful if there was an option to export an animation with a transparent packground? i get something like an mp4 wouldn't be able to support it but it would be a nice feature for gifs and png sequences

speaking of which, i can't export animations as png sequences, idk why, maybe its a thing on my end, but stuff like gifs and mp4s can be exported fine, just not png sequences.
Loud&Noisy 14 SEP a las 17:36
Alright, this one I have to keep my eyes on.
