Drop Weapon

Description
This addon allows to drop any weapon you holding.

Features:
  • Dropped weapon keeps ammo count in the magazine!
  • Auto-switch to picked up weapon! (but only if was dropped by player, toggleable, off by default)
  • Blacklist for dropping weapons!
  • Dropping all your weapons on death! (toggleable, off by default)
The command for dropping active weapon is "+drop" (so binding it to key G would be like "bind G +drop" in the console, you'd be prompted in chat to bind a key if you haven't already).

ConVars:
  • "sv_dropweapon_blacklist_adminbypass <0|1>" — Should admins be allowed to drop blacklisted weapons (default: "0")
  • "sv_dropweapon_ondeath <0|1>" — Should players drop their weapons (excluding blacklisted ones) on death (default: "0")
  • "sv_dropweapon_ondeath_activeonly <0|1>" — Should players drop only active weapon on death? (default: "1")
  • "cl_dropweapon_useonpickup <0|1>" (CLIENT) — Auto-switch to picked up weapon (default: "0")

Console commands:
  • "sv_dropweapon_blacklist_add <classname>" — Add weapon to dropping blacklist
  • "sv_dropweapon_blacklist_remove <classname>" — Remove weapon from dropping blacklist

broken with manual pickup, once you drop the weapon once you auto pick it up forever

you can make an addon that will work with most weapon dropping addons (not just this one) using this hook to catch the dropped weapons and delete them: https://wiki.facepunch.com/gmod/GM:PlayerDroppedWeapon
