Old school automotive. Inspired by liveries from 1960’s/70’s Nascar. I chose the G3 because of its long rounded silhouette, reminiscent of the cars being used at the time. The car #72 is in reference to the G3SG1’s introduction, 1972. The middle scope section adorns a script style chrome decal commonly found on the rear of cars describing the model. It reads “Gewehr” German for rifle. I was contemplating using the full Scharfschützengewehr ("Sharpshooting Rifle") which stands for SG in the gun’s name but felt it was too long.
