First Mining Mechs game was awesome.

This is basically the same game, but better in almost every aspect. In my opinion heavily underpriced, for its price you get a awesome game, many other devs could learn a thing or two from this one. I am really looking forward to see the future of this dev.

Just get it, you won't regret it.

Heavily underpriced.

Very cheap game but a lot of fun.

The game mechanics are not that deep (Ha!), so not something for like 10k hours, but perfect if you just want something quick to play.

They once again shifted entirely.

Surivors get literally everything they want while killers get nothing.
Survivor is still braindead easy, killer is still stressful. Coming updates will shift it EVEN MORE towards survivor. It looks like they want to make survivors basically immortal.
I have yet to face any real challenge while playing as survivor, since countering killers is just so easy....

Sad to see this game go downhill so fast...
Playing as survivor is still if you don't get braindead teammates, which is the only reason you can lose the game. The skill of the killer does literally not matter, it is all down to you and your teammates. But since survivors cried so hard, they get safety net after safety net, so even if you screw up, you still have a million chances, while a single mistake on the killer side means most likey defeat.

Seems fair...

So, i just finished the game and have some things to say.

I will start with the negative aspects of the game:

- The game just kinda throws you in. Barely anything will be told. The first few hours will be just aimlessly roaming around
trying to figure out what to do
- The world is very maze-like. Hard to orientate yourself
- The game is very short. It took me 10 hours to finish all the bosses. But as i have played (and completed) every Dark
Souls game (except BB), i am used to this games. Newcomers will definitely need more time.
- AI of some enemies is just broken. They will just stand there and do nothing.
- Ragdolls of dead enemies can be very tricky. I almost got launched to space by the body of a dead enemy.
- The endboss is defnitely way to easy. I bet him on the first try and barely took any damage. They should tone down his
health (he is way too tanky) but make him harder otherwise.

Now to the good things:
- The visuals of this game are great. Very beatiful to look at. (Especially the Seat of Infinity, awesome location)
- The design of the enemies is very good.
- Combat feels good once you learned how to properly fight enemies.
- Bosses are very good designed. The endboss may be too easy, but his design is very good nonetheless.
- There are not many different weapons, but the ones you have are good designed and are very unique. You can build your
playstile around the weapons very nicely.
- It has a cool mechanic with the glands/the mist. I don't want to spoil too much, but the risk/reward aspect of the mist is
very nice. Obtaining the glands and their effect add quite some tension to the game in your first playthrough.
- As the game does not have healing like in Dark Souls, health management is very important. Risk pushing farther into the
map and maybe die, or go back and recover but have to start again is actually a very good aspect of the game.
- Shells are a very interesting way to define your playstile.

Overall, this game has so much potential. I would absolutely love a Mortal Shell 2 or expansions (like DLC's).
For the money spent on this game, you will get a great game. It definitely has its weaknesses, but a lot of strenghts too.
