Researching the biodiversity of TF2!

Team Fortress 2 is an environment rich in diversity and biology. It is up to us to document and observe these creatures of this environment all we can.

Documented: Lobsterheavies, spycrabs, spyengineers

Certainly the creature who has gotten the most attention in the media is the spycrab, due to its endangerment. But there are other creatures out there, for instance, the spyengineer and the lobsterheavy.

For instance, the lobsertheavy. The lobsterheavy is not endangered yet, but due to evolution (namely heavy weapons), their feeding habbits have increased, and have already eliminated the spyengineer population. Their prey consists of sanviches, spycrabs, and the now-extinct spyengineer. If the spycrab becomes extinct, the lobsterheavies may need to find a new food source, as sanviches will not provide enough long-term sustinance.

Crazed gunmen and assasins have advocated controlled hunting of the lobsterheavies, yet this is a dangerous proposition as a lobsterheavy is very fierce when angered.

Males can be identified as having extra large blue or red claws, depending on their clan, and females have smaller claws that can emit a deadly, invisible projectile by pointing at their prey.
