Valve has broken pubs, a core aspect of Team Fortress 2. People may no longer easily join others' games. NOONE ASKED FOR THIS! We appreciate competitive, but not THIS! People can no longer join empty servers to mess around, or guarantee better ping and latency by joining a local server. And NOONE HAS EVER CARED ABOUT PEOPLE LEAVING PUBS! Expecting people to play full games for 40-50 minutes even when it is no longer fun or they need to go, all the time and harshly penalising them for not doing so is just wildly unreasonable. My friend can normally just ask me to play, and I reply, I'm busy, wait 10 mins. Then they just join a game and invite me to join. We can no longer do that. This just discourages gameplay.
In addition, it is clear no-one appreciates the removal of pubs. I have checked every one of my 100+ friends and told them that if they found someone who likes the removal of pubs, I would give them my full $1000 USD backpack. No-one has been successful.
