Aetherian's Dawn (Major WIP)

Hey guys so below are some important updates on the work and the progress that has been made for Aetherian's Dawn! Good news is that the RP is likely about a week from being in a "completed" state where I can open this up to the general public and begin serious recruitment efforts. I will touch on that in an update right before we go public. One major point is from now on if you do not have an accepted character I will be kicking you out of the group. I am very serious about having numbers reflected by activity (that's not required till we start) and the fact that you have an accepted character which means you have actual interest in the group and it's not just one more group for your profile or to say "I was in that..." if you don't RP you aren't in my group. Plain and simple :D


==Trade==
Ah, so I worked relatively diligently to aid Turtler in his economic system by making a Trade Lanes map. The trade lanes are color coded for ease of recgonition. The systems along the routes will recieve boosts to their economic capacity and income. Those at the "ends" of the routes recieve the highest boosts. Those not on the route but next to a system that is recieve minor boosts. Those more than two (2) systems from a route will not recieve any boosts. Boosts will be kept track of by individuals and not by me, so as to limit what I actually need to do. When the economic outline is completed we will begin to shape just how important a role economics will be in this RP. A detailed explanation of the Trade Lanes will be posted this week.


==Atmosphere, Armor and Shield Types==
To help people better understand that there is going to be a standardized system when compairing Atmoshperes, Armor and Shield Types I broke down each into a simple list and explained each adequately. Please if you have questions about this let me know. I do consider this now self-explanatory and if you come asking me questions that are easily figured out by reading the discussions then I will not answer them and instead lecture you about the time it took me to write those up and how impotant it is that you familiarize yourself with the discussions and appreciate the effort that went into them. If you read it thoroughly and still can't seem to answer your question then you may come to me about it and I will likely thank you for reading it, and then help you with your question :3.


==Military Numbers and Layouts==
Now since the focus of the RP is the Republic of Anaxes (Republic) and the Crimson Imperium (Imperium) I have detailed their military numbers, overall ship numbers, how many of ship ship class they have and listed their ship models, as well as their army's numbers and the locations of each respective force's headquarters are. Please make sure you look this information over as it is sure to change throughout the RP.

Now you are likely going to ignore this and end up asking me, "Why are the militaries of only those two listed and not all the nations or just the Big Six?" And to be honest it is a decent enough question. Easy answer is, is that it would be a lot of work and take a solid few (more than two for sure) hours to complete and since I myself and doing 98%+ of the work, balancing a rough family life (sister is hospitalized) and Uni Exams coming up, I simply don't have time. Another reason why I am not is I do plan on having the bulk of Characters be apart or in these two nations, however if more people apply and end up applying in bulk for another Civlization I will post their numbers accordingly.


==Ship Class vs Ship Models==
Now now, I do not want ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and moaning about, "What is a Ship Class?" or "What is a Ship Model?" I am going to explain that here. For the simple answer Ship Class would be Dreadnought, Battlecruiser, Frigate, Corvette etc, which is standardized throughout the entire Galaxy with size as the main determinate. However Ship Model is NOT standardized throughout and is nation specific for it is the model or make of the ships in a class. For example you will see Dreadnoughts in both the Imperium and the Republic's Navies, however you will only see Praetor-Class Dreadnoughts in the Imperium's. Praetor-Class is the Model while Dreadnought is the Classfication.

*NOTE -- Classifications have their own discussion under ships. HOWEVER Models are not in their own discussion. Instead you can find a Ship Model for a either the Imperium or the Republic under their respective Military Discussion.

**NOTE NOTE -- I will add a standardized list of Civilian Models that would be used throughout the Galaxy in a seperate discussion this week.


==Species==
Fun stuff, I have added pictures next to each Species' name in the Species Discussion. Please be sure to check it out. If you play a non-human species when you are trying to find an appearance picture for your application find a picture as close as possible to that used in the species list. If you cannot find one that is close in resemblance you will need to go into great detail about your character's appearance in words rather than a picture. This would need to be three(ish) sentences that are of good quality to give a solid mental picture.


==Important Worlds==
There is now a new discussion tab that is called "Important Worlds" this is for just that. All the Capital Worlds of the Many Civilizations will be classfied and detailed out here. In addition to Capital Worlds there will be other worlds that hold great importance either on the Galactic Scale like Prometheus (in the Imperium) or they are being run by characters played by RPers like Halcyon (which is one of my worlds). This list will be updated as more people join and thus more worlds become relevant.


==Pre-RP and Character Applications==
Okie guys, now I recognize that you are probably itching to do some Pre-RP in the Galaxy considering the time it is taking to finish the work to even start the RP. I however am going to impose a few rules of conduct here:
-1st you MUST have an accepted character application before Pre-RPing.

-2nd if you are Pre-RPing a major event or such that would have ramifications on the Galactic scale you need to check with me first otherwise I will simply retconn it and say it never happened. (Since I am the Creator I certainly reserve that right at any point before or after the RP starts)

-3rd Please let me know when and with who you are Pre-RPing with and what all happens as I will jot down the jist of it and keep some notes so that when the RP begins when I start making Events and stuff happen I don't accidentally not know, because someone forgot to tell me, that maybe you were in another system that thought or maybe some troops were moved around.

-4th Characters can die in Pre-RP if you come to me about a situation. Both parties must agree and dice will be rolled. However, rejecting death without legitimate (I will deem what is and is not legitimate) reason will be ignored and the character will perish regardless. HOWEVER, that said I will not look highly upon those who attempt to kill other players at this time or in the early stages of the RP once it begins. War is out of the question at this time so please keep it to Senate Meetings, Missions (that have moderate effect), Parties, and just general dinking around that wouldn't have serious (I deem what is and is not serious) effects on the wider RP.


==Help==
I would greatly appreciate help in getting this RP finished. If you are willing to seriously put in assistance with maybe an hour or two a day for the next week or so I would greatly greatly greatly appreciate the help to get this finished. Come see me if you are actually willing to work.
