Official group for the 8-bit salute cup Dota tournament

This group is to help fans and teams better organize the promotional and preliminary games for the 8-bit salute Cup.

Preliminary Matches begin May 1st and go through the 15th. The tournament takes place on May 17th. All events will be streamed live through the channel56k twitch.

The closest seeded match will always play before the further seeded match. So for instance 4-5 plays first, then 3-6, then 2-7, then 1-8.

Hello! I have idea to do simple skype group for captains of teams at our lvl (4-started joindota divisions). This would be the place to set up scrims with other teams. If you are into this plan just add me on skype (big_og1) and send me invite to friends with your Dota 2 nick and your team name and I will create group!

That's a wrap! Congratulations to Team Chosen Heroes for winning the grand finals. All other teams thanks for competing and thanks to all the viewers and people who helped out. Was a true pleasure to get to know all of you even though scheduling times was a complete headache and almost killed me, I really had a blast. Hope we can work with you guys in the future.

Please support the channel56k twitch.
This isn't just to self promote but right now we are at a critical moment in the main event. To get people to take the event seriously we need a twitch channel that looks legit and the more followers we have the more legit it looks to an outside audience. As 30% of all donations go directly into the prize pool this will promote you guys as well and increase the viewership you will receive while you play.
