Meta ai training
Facebook/instagram sometime next week will use private direct messages to train a machine and I’ve never agreed or been asked if that’s something they can do with my accounts.

This training doesn’t reeaallly bother me. What’re everyone’s views on this?

My main question now, will this be retro-active?

Classic reptile overlord Zuckerbot 3000. :steamfacepalm: But then again people still use Facebook & Instagram despite being literal lab rats, for any experiment they use their algorithms for... :lunar2019deadpanpig:
Of course it will be retroactive

Also they tricked bunch of people to train ai couple years ago by asking you to label people in your pictures

Yea it’s retroactive? So you’re telling me all messages and pictures have been getting stored on a drive somewhere unencrypted ready to be fed to a machine? Noooo wayyyyyy I never thought they had the capability to do this wowwwww.

I was crossing my fingers they’d do it with a new leaf but yeah, no surprise there. They didn’t even want to ask me if I want to train an ai.

Deleting instagram now unironically
Weird though that FBI hasn't seized their Website for piracy.

Well they've donated a lot of cash to political campaings + spent a ton of money on bribing, sorry i mean "legal" political corruption aka lobbyism. :lunar2019deadpanpig:

Not once did I question the legality of asking without permission. That’s besides the question and point.

Or have it all go away and make kids interact with eachother in person, I like that idea too.

It's scraping public data (posts, photos and comments, etc) and whenever someone mentions @MetaAI in chats

So avoid group chats using it. Ditto with any family member or friend using it. It's like an Vampire being invited into someone's home, but it doesn't care who did the invition.

No reason to think they haven't been doing it all along.
