I LOVE SOME OF UBISOFT GAMES, WATCHDOGS, GHOST RECON, AND FAR CRY, THEY'RE ALL GOOD
BUT YOUR SERVICE ARE TRASH

I was so hyped about this game for so long. But after the game came out- I wasn't even able to play it. The game wasn't released on steam until like 2 years after launch (and therefore wasn't even buyable for me and many others), then it releases on steam (WITH REQUIRED LAUNCHER) and after finally playing it. The story was boring, the characters felt flat, generic and uninteresting. The gameplay and progression were bland, map layout could have been better. Visual style was fine but I found myself missing Watchdogs 1 and 2.
Legitimately ♥♥♥♥ game please play the other two.

I went into Legion with very low expectations, I liked the first Watch_Dogs, absolutely loved the 2nd, but I held off playing this one, the whole play-as-any-NPC-on-the-street gimmick turned me off, but then they released the Bloodline DLC, with the absolute fan favorite Wrench and of course Aiden, so I said, alright I'll give it a chance.

And I gotta say, it wasn't so bad, I had fun playing this thing, the story is okay, I didn't exactly feel as connected with the characters like the previous games, expect for Bagley, but it has it's ups and downs, I really liked the Spy and the Brain Mapping chapters. And of course, the definitive way of playing the campaign is using Wrench and Aiden, not only do they have most "complete" builds but also while the game doesn't really give them that character development it needs, they are the people you know and love so it makes the whole experience a lot more enjoyable.

The gameplay is decent, a lot of the mechanics/abilities you had as Marcus or Aiden are now broken up between a lot of characters, which is a bit uncomfortable, though the Uniform mechanic was pretty cool, infiltrating buildings and stuff with a silent pistol and leaving the place clean like a spy was badass. I really missed the blackout ability on every operative, sadly as far as I know only Aiden has it. Drones are definitely an upgrade over WD2, using the cargo drone to fly over the buildings and dropping a spider bot to steal and hack everything is good fun.

The DLC is very good, a great conclusion to Aiden's story, with actual character-focused writing, though I felt a pretty sudden difficulty spike right at the end. Speaking of difficulty, there's a permadeath mode with an achievement tied to it, and I was pretty scared at first, but once you realize you can recruit all of London for the meat-grinder it isn't hard at all, it becomes an almost stealth-exclusive game but doesn't stop being entertaining.

In conclusion, I do recommend this game, but only for Watch_Dogs fans/players, I strongly advise against getting this as your first in the series, go play the other two.

Do make sure you get the Season Pass to play as Aiden and Wrench on the campaign, getting the DLC is not enough, thanks Ubisoft smh.
