One of my favorite games of all time is a little known one that goes by the name of Bloodborne, made by a little studio named FromSoft. It was the first game I ever platinumed and replayed multiple times because of the story, atmosphere, weapons and environmental design. Lies of P has now joined the list of my favorite video games of all time because of how it so expertly pulled me into its story, sure the combat leaves a bit to be desired, but what it lacks in that department, it makes up for in it's environments, tone and character design. Don't get me wrong, you can make some amazing builds that are incredibly fun to play with, but I am still chasing that high that the Saw Cleaver or Ludwig's Holy Blade gave me my first run in Bloodborne. That being said, buy this game and support this really talented team so they can continue making beautiful and fun games!

This game has been an amazing experience. From the convincing and engaging storyline, to the beautiful worldbuilding and unique npcs. The combat is fluid and feels amazing. The parrying is so satisfying, almost more satisfying to me than sekiro but not quite. The thing I love most is the psychological twist put on the classic story Pinocchio, and the game really explores the deepest darkest crevices of what the story represents. A story riddled with grief and how some people deal with this grief as they live on in multiple perspectives. These devs nailed it almost perfectly in terms of balancing the representation of the classic Pinocchio while still giving their own twist to make it their own. There are plenty of other situations and characters in this game that get you thinking and reflecting on your own life and I could go on and on. If you enjoy soulslikes with heavy parrying mechanics then this is a must play, or even if you just enjoy story driven games this is amazing. And if you cant get passed the difficulty of the game then I would recommend watching a story analysis on youtube cause its just that good. If there was a show/movie I would watch it in a heartbeat. Beautiful game.
