Planet of Lana is a fantastic platformer game. The mix of audio and visuals were completely well done. Rough estimate of completing this game is about 4-6 hours, however, I finished this in just a little over 10 hours. The details in visuals were stunning and I took my time at admiring each level because it was that good. Each level had a good mix of challenging, engaging puzzles that stumped me for a bit, and it was satisfying to figure the solution out. There isn't much dialogue in this game to begin with, but man, the storytelling, it hit me in the feels towards the end. Time for me to 100% this game (dang you flawless achievement!).

Short and sweet: Planet of Lana was a fantastic experience (for me). Sure, some of the common criticisms hold a bit of merit. I agree that some of the puzzles can felt repetitive and even overly easy, but the game’s charm and style made up for that. At 4–6 hours, its value will depend on how you weigh cost versus playtime but for me, even at full price, it was absolutely worth it. I’m genuinely glad I played it and would recommend it to anyone who appreciates beautifully crafted, story-driven adventures.

The platforming aspects are fine. The robot puzzles range from small timing puzzles to very tedious timing puzzles.

Whoever designed the music puzzles, I truly wish I knew what was going through your head.

The pipes puzzles was obnoxious, but at least had a couple of hints around to get you... most of the way there without guesswork.

The oasis puzzle... I have never felt so ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over for having PAID ATTENTION in a game prior to that point. EVERY SINGLE TIME Lana engages with a machine (not when the mothership does it), it plays a sequence of colors that imply a note pattern of a certain sequence. A sequence that involves Cyan, then Blue, implying two different notes, and a set of colors different from the ones used in this puzzle. I would have been better off solving this if I had NEVER ONCE BOTHERED TO ENGAGE WITH THE MECHANIC THE GAME WAS TRYING TO CONVEY. Instead, I wasted over a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hour trying to figure out how to make colors match things that WEREN'T THERE to go with a puzzle of tones for people who are half tone-deaf.

I will not give a positive review to something that actively works to sabotage players who actively paid attention. All to reach an ending so unfathomably dull and nonsensical that I couldn't believe I wasted my time getting there. Thank Mui it was a short playthrough.
