Here's the situation: I'm 44 and have played all the original Sonic games. They're fine; not amazing, not my favorites, just fine. The modern ones? Also fine. Less fine, actually. Mania was better. Generations was outright bad. My five-year-old son enjoyed Generations and the classics, and he loves Mania. But Generations gets too complex for him, and he constantly calls me over for help with the tough parts. I can't stand that game. This game is NOT cheap.
