If you press enter and type /admin you get god mode, and the ability to teleport back up to your ship from anywhere, if that doesnt work, while /admin is active you can also type /warp OwnShip to go back to your ship....

You can also experiment with /warp and try different things like NoWhere teleports you back to the start of the world your on, or you could look up the warp list names and choose one for yourself. Unless dev has an answer specifically tied to this quest in FU, i'd otherwise suggest maybe using wiring to check if you displaced a control wire, or maybe try explosives on the walls?

so...warp out and warp back in and dont do that this time. You can trigger that section without fighting the boss, so you wont lose any time. That, or you simply dont have what you need to progress in the passage yet and need to return later.

3 years late, but I gotta say, what a ♥♥♥♥ response lol, you have to mine behind the elder bookcase that is directly outside of the quest book room and it will reveal a switch to get out, hopefully that helps someone more than your response
