clones..................., becuse borg (to my knowlage) have defective blaster weapon compared to the plasma rifes of the republic, not to metion is space, that the star wars shield and plsma weapon would blow the whole federation, klingon,romulan,vulcun,AND borg fleets to dust. better tech= victory over assimalation.

you are forgetting adaptivity and numbers. the collective would probably become resistant to standard issue equipment on the first encounter and probably not even lose a cube. constant regeneration and assimilation would result in their forces multiplying over the course of an engagement faster than they can be killed. New countermeasures would take clone scientists years to develop only to be adapted to in the next encounter. forces dwindling and clones not being churned out fast enough to stop the advance would result in key positions and possibly cloning facilities to fall into borg hands allowing yet more drones to be produced. Using a vast network of transport conduits invasion fleets could be dropped on a planet's doorstep without notice. Game Over.

maybe, but ive done my math, and star wars plasma is a nuke compared to star trek tech, and the republic would, in a galactic senario, ally with StarFleet, gaining acess to beaming Technology, and then they would send clones, ARC troopers, And Commando, with their stronger weapons, into the cube themselves, and ordered to do ONE THING.................. destroy the Borg Ship, even if it takes the nuke straped to your cest (witch i would totaly send with them) explodeing, leaveing none of the Borg, or the Team, to survive.

(when i say plasma is like a nuke, i mean the turbo laser guns of the ships, not the infantry weapons)

I've been over this already, regardless of how good you claim clone weaponry to be it is still an energy type and can be adapted to in seconds within the first contact. Also keep in mind we are only comparing two factions, neither of which can rely on cross universe factions such as starfleet. Take the romulans for example, they had plasma based weaponry similar to the clones yet they still didn't put up much of a fight. starfleet's involvement would not change much seeing as even the Enterprise D, it's flagship, was nearly destroyed by the first cube it encountered. I am tired of restating myself so this is the last you will hear from me on arguments that have already been posed and nulled continuosly.
