it leaves less in control of the map maker/designer, it may be a mechanic in bo3 but just as nacht didn't have pap added to it, mechanics don't always get backported and nor should every map have everything, there is thus no good reason to add something unless it is intended. the intentions behind the additions to the maps in chronicles were not for faithful recreation nor were they required. it is a decision to place them, and i'm grateful there are less things promised on a map, it lets there be more variety.

if you play all around enhancement mod it will drop gobblegum and i got a soda fountain, anyway i got vulture aid, deadshot, widows wine and other perks im forgetting that arent even on the map so he was definitely planning on adding wonderfizz or the gobblegum machine for perkaholic possibly

Just do something like the creator of Call of the Dead Remastered did, add the machine but give a price tag instead of the free gum every round. Much more balanced that way
