An update, back in 2019, or 2020-2024 broke teleportation for A LOT of races on my end. You could teleport down, but if you left an very small block vicinity you would be essentially kidnapped by your ship automatically beaming you back up.

I had not installed any new mods or workshop addons, nor removed any, thinking the starbound team would fix it: they never did...
