Bomb Stats (Blast range and damage types)
So currently im looking to see what the blast radius is for the largest nuke, and ive estimated it to be at least over 410 blocks, does anyone know the actual number? The test took far too long to get that number in the first place.

hi, the way the explosion is calculated, is the explosion power is decreased over distance.. so its going to be realy hard to measure the distance.. I will test it to find out the exact number, but it will take some time

The way i did it, is i used bomb-immune blocks to mark the 16block intervals and drew out a line, marking those intervals with those bomb-immune blocks. I lost count on the 410th, and it clearly destroyed far past that. im mostly interested in the largest nukes damage range, as i was building a CIWS system to shoot it down, but i dont want it shooting things across the map

what i thought, is to write down the gps coordinates of the explosion point (the modpack), and then make a very long line of blocks, and substruct the end of the explosion from the saved coordinates. i just need to have some free time to do that (i dont have any)

hi arty, appearently if you take the ExplosionRadius and multiply it by 4, you get the range of the explosion.. i completely forgot about this thread until today morning.. anyway, added the radius of the nukes to their description

Awesome, and thank you, Ive been doing this is to make an anti missile system, by having a player indicator block on the missile/bomb its going to intercept and i need to know the safe range for air bursting the anti missile when it gets close enough, because a direct hit is nearly impossible.
