Introduction
Have you ever seen someone rocking the Cat title and wondered how they got it? As you have already figured out, it comes from the Lacuni Massacre Achievement (Vessel of Hatred DLC required). I will show you the most efficient way to obtain it in this guide.

Prerequisites
I did a lot of scouting and found that Lacunis are most concentrated in North-Eastern of Nahantu. Before you attempt this achievement, the following are recommended:
  1. Complete VOH campaign
  2. Complete Kichuk stronghold (for fast traveling)
Farming Areas + Loop
  1. Kichuk (Outskirts & Caves)
  2. Kahana's River Basin
  3. Old Seram (Event Area): All enemies spawn in these events are Lacunis! Make sure you always complete the events here & loop back every few minutes. You can also quit to main menu & relogin for new events to spawn.
  4. Bloodstained Heights

Dungeons
To my knowledge, dungeon aren't guaranteed to generate the same mob type every time. If you want to test your luck anyway, the following dungeons have a chance to spawn Lacuni:
  1. Putrescent Ladder
  2. Sleepless Hollow
  3. Forgotten Remains
  4. Iron Cenotaph
  5. Hierophant Pyre
FAQs
What do Lacunis look like?
Lacunis crawl on all 4 limbs. Their backs are very spiny and spiky. Similar to Goatmen, they have 2 curved horns (?) on their backs/heads, except Goatmen stand on 2 feet.
Here's a screenshot I took of the bigger Lacuni type. Once you know the difference, it's easy to recognize them in game.

How do I know if I'm in the right area?
Because these smaller areas aren't marked on the map, make sure to pay attention to the top right of your screen. This says the sub-area you are in.

Is it better to do it in a group?
Yes! Your teammate's kills also count as your kills, so it's definitely faster to attempt this achievement in a group.

How long does it take to get this achievement?
Personally, I got it in about 5 hours in the span of 2 days. Depending on your speed & build type, it's possible to get 1,000 Lacuni kills per 1-2h.
At the time of making this guide (season 8), I used the Bloodwave Necro build to get the achievement.
