This tool totals up the mass of all the props you select and shows the center of gravity.

Usage:
Left click to select individual props - hold use to area select or shift to select all constrained props
Right click to get total mass and center of gravity (will default to all constrained props if nothing is selected)
Reload to clear selection

This is GOOD. Very useful for thrusting and hovering.

It doesnt work for my, it just makes the middle area of the map have the center of gravity, wherever i go.
