In 1972, Misaki, a grade 3 student in Yomiyama, was killed in a fire. This studious and sporty person was admired by all his classmates. After his mysterious death, in full denial, the latter decided to act as if Misaki was still among them and this, until the end of high school.

In 1998, a young boy named Kôichi Sakakibara was transferred to this same class. He meets a mysterious atmosphere and frightened students. Her curiosity is awakened by a strange teenager, wearing a blindfold and to whom no one speaks. His name is Misaki ...
