idk, it's weird lmao. it's kind of ♥♥♥♥ but i can't stop playing. the amount of depth and possible combos in this game is absurd and i feel like a genius every time i either theorycraft my way into a broken build or hamfist a dumb idea into still winning the game by item drops. the issue for me is the gameplay loop really is just spamming the tab key to auto play the game for you until you either die or kill everything in the room.

every once in a while you use one of your three prayers or possibly reposition yourself? if you want to you can strategically pick which area to go to based on the enemies instead of the loot to maximise your chance of survival but 9/10 times it's either you have the build that lets you win or you suck and you die.

not to mention you need to actually like roguelikes to like this game, im talking real roguelikes, games that are like the game rogue, this isn't hades.

if i could rate it a meh i would. if you haven't played rotmg before just stop looking at this game and go play that instead. if you have played rotmg before its basically just a clone with much less content and players. its fun because rotmg is fun and ♥♥♥♥ because rotmg is ♥♥♥♥. i can see it being pretty good if they add more content, get more players and manage to fix all the problems rotmg has that they copied into this game for some reason.

the music isn't even touhou remixes they just got some guy to make game music xd ??
