Blood Bowl has been one of my favorite tabletop games of all time and BB3 is a faithful adaptation.

It occupies an interesting spot in gaming because its gameplay intersects high skill and high luck. Success is determined by positioning, risk management and a developing an effective roster. I absolutely love it. BB3 had a rocky launch but they have steadily been improving the game and adding content every few months.

The updated ruleset is more balanced from the old ruleset of BB2 and the official ladder it way more balanced with skill ranking and team value limits.

The single player is serviceable in demonstrating the basics and selling the theme of the game. However the AI is pretty bad and doesn't reflect even a novice player's skill level. Blood Bowl is such a nuanced and deep game, I can't imagine the AI would ever be as sophisticated.

The game is at it's best against other players anyway, so lace up your boots and start bashing skulls!

Early Access Review
My first impressions are very positive for Speed Freeks.

Caged Element really captures the setting and this is 'da Orkiest game dis git's seen'!

The two game modes are fun, the vehicles each feel unique and engaging to play. The game is free for Mork's sake! Just try it out for a few hours and get stuck in.

Game of Thrones is my favorite strategy board game of tall time.

This game is a faithful adaptation with a solid user interface and helpful missions to teach new players on how to play the game. The AI is decent but will definitely make weird and poor decisions that can swing the game.

After quite a few matches, I'm saddened to say that I do [n]NOT[/b] recommend this game as of May 2021.

There are frequent and game breaking bugs with a multiplayer experience more frustrating than fun. Until they fix this one core element of the game, my friends and I won't play another match.

There is no action timer - Many games will end when a player simply goes AFK. Play cannot continue until they act and they have their entire allotted time. A simple solution would be to give players up to 5 minutes to act before the AI takes over and completes their turn. So many of my games end when a player goes AFK when they think they're losing. Instead of quitting, they will punish the other players and stall the game out indefinitely until everyone quits. If they're really savvy, they will come back once the AI takes over and try to win.

Take the recent string of salty negative reviews about Stellaris 2.0 with a grain of salt.

I've played the game on and off since launch and the core experience has only gotten better. The developer has continually strived to refine their game and offer meaningful content. They listen to and are very active with the community. You can even play pre-2.0 versions if the recent changes aren't to your liking.

I highly suggest you purchase the base game and Utopia for the best experience.

Insanely addicting gameply. Delightful score. Co-Op is great fun once you can figure out forwarding your ports.

One of the funnest games I've played in awhile.
