Reviewing a game of this nature using Steam's primitive review tools presents certain challenges, yet I feel compelled to share my thoughts. As a dedicated Potterhead, I found this game to be quite disappointing. It essentially feels like a re-skinned version of "Far Cry" under the guise of the Harry Potter franchise. I had to push myself to complete it, driven solely by my affection for the source material. Even though I had pre-ordered the game, I never actually finished until today...

The gameplay lacks engagement and excitement, making for a rather tedious experience overall. If you are a fan of the "Far Cry" series, and you like having 1000 icons on your mini-map, 90% of it being side missions and collectibles, you might find some enjoyment, but I would strongly recommend waiting for a sale. In my opinion, this game does not justify its full price.

The only positive is Hogwarts itself, the castle. It is perfect. That is the only thing.

The ending brought me to tears, but I suppose that's a testament to its impact. While the game has A LOT of flaws, the narrative alone justifies the experience. Panam will certainly be missed...
