Mafia: The Old Country is everything I hoped it would be and more. The visuals are breathtaking - sunlight spilling over the hills, cobblestone streets worn by years of footsteps, and the bustle of life in early 1900s Sicily. The game doesn’t just show you a setting, it makes you live in it. The level of detail in the world design makes every corner feel authentic, from the way characters speak to the little touches in shopfronts and alleyways.

The immersiveness is on another level. It’s not just about missions or cutscenes—you can almost smell the sea air and hear the distant church bells. As someone who’s been playing Mafia since the original in 2002, stepping into this felt like both a homecoming and a fresh adventure. The storytelling and pacing still have that signature Mafia feel, but with a richer, more cinematic edge.

Sure, playing on day one meant I had to deal with crashes, but they were small bumps on an otherwise smooth road. The experience was strong enough to keep me pushing forward without hesitation.
