Incredibly fun and addicting game, with a fantastic soundtrack to boot. I've spent hours trying to get the perfect run and when you finally nail those sequential drifts it feels amazing. With local multiplayer and modded tracks added, I think it might just be perfect, and all this from the developer of Jellycar. (yes, THAT Jellycar) If you've ever enjoyed the drifting mechanic from Mario Kart, I think you'll love this game.

Amazing controller, I love it and have used it for years. Due to its configurable nature, it might take a bit of tweaking to get it work the way you like it, but that's the best part of it. Don't like the way the binds are set up? Boom, set just right. It's not the best for all games, but for some it is amazing. Anything that involves a cursor or mouse will be a joy to play on the couch, such as strategy games or just controlling your home theater PC. It works well with platformers because you can bind the triggers and paddles to anything you want. Just, don't expect the touchpads to replace analog sticks, because they wont.
Overall, especially with the 90% off sale right now, I would highly recommend adding this to your collection.

Russian Off-Road Log Trucking Simulator.

Do you like outer space? Do you like blowing things up? Or maybe you would love to learn more about rockets and orbital mechanics? Well, Kerbal Space Program is the game for you! It's not like it's rocke-- Oh.

American Truck Simulator is a very simple game. Get a semi-truck and accompanying cargo from point A to point B. (At least until you get your trucking company going, then you got more stuff to worry about. But I haven't gotten that far, so take my review with a few grains of salt.)

This is most definitely not a game for everyone. If you get bored easily or like exciting games, this ain't your cup of coffee.
If you want a calming and relaxing game with long stretches of nothing interesting happening, it's perfect. It's exactly the right game for sitting down and unwinding after a long day.

I'd highly recommend using a gamepad of some kind, or even better, a steam controller with the gyro set up. Obviously, if you have a steering wheel lying around then use that by all means. But any gamepad is much better than a mouse and keyboard.

Relaxing? Check.
True-to-life locations? Check.
Lots of trucks? Check.

If you like sci-fi and space and have way too much time on your hands, then this is the game for you.

After having sunk 300+ hours into this game, even in early access, it is hands down the best space sandbox game out there. You might need to set aside a few afternoons to get the most out of this game, but it is so worth it.
