This game is absolutely fantastic. The music, the story, the characters, the amount of content, the game play, the graphics, everything is just fantastic. The game very quickly made its way into my top 5 favorite games early on, and continued to keep me interested throughout the whole game. I'm very excited to see the next project that the developers work on.

I already greatly enjoyed this game on release, but after seeing all the additional content, work, and love that the developers are continuing to put into it a year and a half after release, I have major respect for the developers. With the recent release of version 2.0, adding full co-op progression and a friend pass. I'll be playing through the entire game again soon with a friend who had never played it before, and I'm excited to do it.

The game was advertised as something different. The game is boring with bad AI, buggy and clunky movement and unfortunately is nowhere near worth the money. Feels like it should be free to play. Basically you just run around an empty lifeless city and get shot on site by any other players in the game.

Spawned into the world, took a couple steps and was killed immediately by someone I didn't even see when I checked my map. (The game just drops you into a random spot in the city.) Respawned again and decided to try going in without a weapon to get familiar with the world and movement. A zombie started chasing me and I quickly found out there is no melee option for combat. Then began 10 minutes of running away from a zombie until I found a small ledge to jumped up on (there is no climbing, mounting, mantle), and the zombie tried to run around the entire wall which gave me some time to stop holding the W key.

I managed to find all the items for one of the first quests and turned them in, but it was not enjoyable, and I didn't feel like there was a reason to go back into the city and do it again. I know there were a lot of red flags during development, but I really wanted this game to be good. I also know that it is early access, but if this is the core gameplay, full release isn't going to make it better. I don't refund games often, but this will sadly be one of them.

Also, have fun searching like 200+ containers and finding only items marked "junk" or shirts and pants.

Incredibly polished, loads of fun, and tons of animals to play as. Online matchmaking for quick matches and custom lobbies for everything else. This game is well worth the $20.

The server issues have been mostly fixed.
The queue times have been reduced.
The devs have been open and actively discussing any and all issues they are facing. They also share when the fixes can be expected, and listen to the community's feedback on pricing, pain points, and feedback.
The game is a lot of fun to play.

Not much else needs to be said. Its a bummer that people review bombed this game already because of the server issues and queue times on EA release, but there is still a ton of people playing so feel free to jump in with us.

Enjoyed the game so much when it first came out. Playing through it again with a friend before 2 drops. Still an awesome game.

This game is a ton of fun both solo and with friends. A lot of people are complaining about the battle pass, but its one of the cheapest battle passes that I have seen, and it is also the most generous. It only costs 6 dollars if you buy it out right, and you can earn 3 dollars from the free part of the pass. Which means you could spend only 3 dollars. They give you enough of the premium currency in the premium battle pass to buy TWO more in the future if you don't spend the currency on something else.

The game play itself is very tight, and fast based even though it is turn based, and there are plenty of build varieties to try, loads of quests and challenges to complete for those 100%ers too. The MMO aspects such as seeing other players running around the hub is a nice addition and helps give it something unique that other roguelikes don't have. It also makes it way easier and faster to find other people to play with if you want to do a group run. Ranked runs are also a fun addition. As you improve your rank by completing runs, they get harder and harder. Who doesn't love a challenge?

Overall, I do not believe the people leaving negative comments just because of the in game shop gave this game a fair chance. Even with the shop, (which is 100% cosmetic) there are in game cosmetics to earn. Here is another crazy concept: If you don't want to buy digital cosmetics, then don't. The game is a lot of fun and you can make your character look cool without them.

Please give the game a shot, its fun, and if you are really worried about the in game shop, you always have two hours to try it out and get a refund if you don't enjoy it. I hope to see you in the hub!
