This game is incredible, and very challenging! The only caveat is you have to enjoy roguelike gameplay where you build a sweet ship and then lose it all by doing something stupid. Every time I die I learn something and come away with a new story.

For example, learning to board other ships instead of simply attacking them got me a few good stories about how I killed my crew and lost the game. Some minor spoilers: The first time I did it, I accidentally left my ship's guns on autoattack and blew up the ship I boarded with my crew still on it. The second time I did it, I boarded an "auto-scout" ship, which has no crew and therefore no oxygen, and my crew died before I could get them back. The third time I did it I had the ship down to 1 health and didn't consider that we were in an asteroid field where it could blow up without me attacking it, and it did. Eventually I got the hang of boarding ships and the payoff is well worth it.

This is a fun and relaxing game. You do have to enjoy the basic mechanic in Solitaire of flipping cards over and figuring out where to put them, but there is quite a bit more going on than that (figuring out the best path to maximize combo streaks, buying upgrades, leveling up pets, choosing when to save or use powerups to go for combo points or to complete objectives, etc)

Wow, this game is a lot harder than I expected. Love it!

I can't stop playing this game. It taps into the same parts of my brain as Geometry Wars, BIT.TRIP BEAT, and even Guitar Hero did, where I sometimes feel my reactions happening slightly before I am consciously aware of what I am reacting to. It's the greatest feeling. Also, an unrelenting desire to surpass friends on the leaderboard appears to have been included.

I went into this game not having any idea what to expect, except that it was a driving game. And it is: all of the gameplay takes place in cars, so you do have to enjoy driving, of course. But it's much more than that. There's an excellent and mysterious story, there are hilarious side missions, and there are a number of surprising and incredibly fun gameplay elements.

Awesome traditional style Tower Defense game. Very polished, lots of levels. The You Monster DLC is also very good, where you play against GLaDOS and she changes the rules on you as she is won't to do.
