the game is ♥♥♥♥, you just cant have fun and not pay hundreds of dollars in this. after 250 hours of my life building 45M power as a f2p, i just got attacked by a p2w player with 600M power while i was without shield for 8 minutes. i lost 500k T3 troops and my power went down to 30M. if you want to play this game and not get attacked and lose all of your progress, youll need to make your credit card scream.

The game starts with Joel carrying his daughter to save her from death, and the game ends the same way in Joel's eyes...
Many criticize his decision, but obviously there is an explanation for everything...
Joel realized that the world didn't need a cure, if we notice, he asks Ellie if she wanted to give up before even knowing that she would die in the process. In that scene near the end where they found some giraffes, Joel realized that the world was much better without humans, that nature was better this way, then he suggested that they go back. He wouldn't risk Ellie's life for the sake of humanity, because humanity is the cause of its own destruction, and in his eyes, Ellie was worth more than that to him, more than finding a cure. Joel lost his daughter not to zombies, but to humans, and at the end of the game, he saves Ellie, precisely, a human.

I saw some people judging Joel for being a selfish liar, but nobody thought about the recorders at the hospital explaining that there were other people who were immune, but the surgery simply didn't work and people just died in the end. So he's not selfish at all, much less a liar.

Just an extra:
It's something to think about, if you stop and pay attention. From the beginning it was made very clear where the fungus grows (the brain), so how would they study the material and make something out of Ellie? We tend not to notice what is under our noses. lol.

Anyway, I really liked this game in the PC version, although the graphics are a little buggy in the scenes where snow is falling or in the rooms with spores.

I loved the ending so much, that sentence she says "between guilt and fear I choose happiness" maybe it's the answer, i mean, she did kill her parents, but in order not to live with that burden she chose "madness" she chose a place where there is love and happiness. So I believe she really is "crazy", Remor is the personification of her madness, it seems to me something like schizophrenia, that's why she talks to the cat and listens to his voice in her head, the trapped cat that appears (at the end) is the real cat so he doesn't talk, and he really is dead. There are also references to Alice in Wonderland, and there is a "theory" that Alice is actually crazy and is in a sanitarium... Anyway, there is so much to discuss about the game, that's why I loved the ending, it was interpretative.
