I love this game, but please do yourself a favor and do NOT download the Steam version.
It's been 2 years now and Mihoyo still does not allow Steam users to link their account to Hoyoverse. Since they came out with HoyoLab, Mihoyo hosts many events on the platform that provide in-game rewards... but Steam users are ineligible because they cannot link to Hoyoverse.

Just dont do it.

I was getting an itch for a new game to play when an ad for this came up on Facebook. I’m a sucker for farm sim games and the post apo setting was intriguing.

The controls and mechanics are a bit clunky and took some getting used to, but I imagine this will be improved upon later. Part of this could be because I forced the game to play on a controller (controller support would be phenomenal!!) but some initial things that bothered me:
- when moving around, Ellen always defaults to face “up” when stopping, no matter which direction she was moving.
- while moving, Ellen can attack a bot or drill into trash in the direction she is currently facing, but the vacuum is always pointing “up.”

Once I got used to accommodating for the directional quirks, I was hooked. There is something SO satisfying about exploring the world, thinking you’ve found everything, and turning a corner to find a new, untouched area completely covered in trash for you to dig through.

Definitely looking forward to future updates!
