I am so disappointed to have to give this game a negative review, because the art and graphics really are extremely gorgeous, and it had such potential. That said, there are just too many things wrong with this game to make the pretty art worth it.

Starting with the biggest issues, the game seems to suffer from a lot of bugs: at least one achievement is buggy, halfway through the game the voice acting suddenly stopped during the cutscenes and I have no idea if that was a bug or a "feature", many puzzles are quite temperamental (I had to restart my game to get a couple of them to work), and a lot of the time, during HOS you have to click on the correct object repeatedly or on a specific part of it to get it to register.
A lot of the puzzles are also very confusing and their description/info is just not adequate enough to explain how you should solve them (that damn helicopter blueprint puzzle). Also, my pet peeve is when a HOG wants to send me ten areas back to a random room where a HOS has reactivated with absolutely no hint or reason why I should go there (and no map showing active areas).

As for the story, it starts out interesting with a lot of potential, but it just turns into a mess as you proceed, and it gets so random and nonsensical that it almost feels like a big chunk of the game is missing. Especially the final cutscene, boy was that a cop-out. This, combined with the relatively short gameplay time, the disappearing voice acting, and the declining puzzle quality makes the entire game feel very, very rushed, as if it was abandoned halfway through and the second half was just hastily thrown together.

Overall, this game was a waste of good ideas, great music, and excellent art.

Hands down one of my favourite logic puzzle games of all time. I really enjoyed both of the previous games in the series, but I keep coming back to Infinite again and again. The game starts with quite simple puzzles, ending with very challenging, very fun ones. You can absolutely solve all the puzzles in this game without guessing. The randomly generated puzzles are a fun feature, but most of them are not very challenging. There is support for user-made ones, though, adding more content and replayability to the game. Sound design and visuals are excellent, just like in the previous games.

I got this game in a bundle, and it turned out to be a great game to play.

This game's strong suit is definitely the visual - the art, both backgrounds and character design, is gorgeous and extremely well done, the effects are beautiful, and all the areas are different, uniquely, and imaginatively designed. The music and sound are also great, and the voice acting is good. The game very much succeeds in creating a beautiful and vivid fairytale-like atmosphere.

The gameplay mostly consists of puzzles and minigames, with a few very simple HO-type scenes. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised by the puzzles in this game - they are very different and imaginative, not repetitive at all, and not the exact same puzzles and mechanics you see in most HOG or adventure games. While most of them are not extremely challenging, they are smart and very, very fun to play.

There is a tad bit more back-and-forth than I'd like between the great number of areas of the game, but at least it's quite obvious and logical where you should be going when you find a new item. I played in hard mode, so I don't know if this would be easier with the use of the map, but I found it was sometimes easy to forget in which of the previous ten areas the lock for the key you just found was located. But I did enjoy the variety of beautiful areas, and, again, the navigation made sense and the game did not suffer from a case of magically appearing objects and HO areas that a lot of games do. Another small criticism is that the controls of a couple of the puzzles seemed a bit fiddly and/or buggy (the rotating hourglass puzzle in particular comes to mind), but it was more of a rare, mild annoyance than a serious problem.

Gameplay in hard mode is 4-5 hours, including the bonus chapter, which is decent. There is a lot of content (areas, puzzles, etc) so the game felt very satisfying. I wish the game included achievements as well, but it's not such a big thing I guess.

The story of the game is nothing amazing, quite flimsy and cliche, but the setting and atmosphere are beautiful and interesting enough to make up for it. I have to admit that there were moments when some dialogue or story bits made me roll my eyes, most notably the part where a whole gnome village was left to languish because all the men had been kidnapped, leaving the women and children alone in the village, so there was apparently no one around to find food or repair things.

In conclusion, despite the few small flaws and flimsy story, I greatly enjoyed this game. The gorgeous art and interesting, unique puzzles more than made up for anything else.

This was not a very great game.

It has achievements and trading cards, so that was at least something, and you won't even have to suffer through the game twice to get all of the achievements. It also had some fairly enjoyable puzzles and mechanics, and there is voice acting that is not bad.

Other than that, I did not much enjoy this game. The hidden object scenes aren't amazing looking, and there is a fair amount of errors in them (such as repeated objects and mislabeled objects). There is way too much back and forth to go back to random places where new objects or HOS have magically appeared, and finding those places is next to impossible without using hints or your map.

Most of the puzzles are very easy, while some are just confusing and rely too much on aforementioned back and forth, while the game doesn't even inform you of what you need to find a lot of the time. More than once, you have to actually backtrack from a hidden object scene to randomly go find something else, and then come back to it later. The puzzles just don't seem to follow a logical order. Towards the end, the puzzles seemed more streamlined and enjoyable, with a bit less back and forth and less random places to go back and look for random things in.

The plot is flimsy at best, some of the music is nice but the ~super spooky pieces were a bit grating, and while some of the jump scares get you (warning to those who don't like jump scares) the "scary" bits are so cliche, random, and inconsistent that I could not get into the atmosphere of the game at all. Also, I know this is a small detail, but the text/font bothered me a LOT in this game.
