Fun game, but the publishers fumbled it.

The servers have been shut down, so you can no longer play.

I was salty when I wrote my last review, but I forgot this is Arma. Warts and all is the point.

You will have frames issues - I have to reconnect frequently to fix my FPS in a 3 hour op.
You may have ping issues - my issue needing to disable antivirus/firewall to be able to connect (despite good internet) is commonly discussed on forums.
You'll probably have other issues too.
But it's Arma. That will all happen - and you'll LIKE IT (because it's fun). However many issues I have, I WILL log 1,000+ hours.

Did you enjoy SWAT 4? Yes? This game is for you.

Some of the best Arma 3 content to hit the ground in possibly years. A new favorite for me in Mike Force. With the second map coming down the pipe, it's a great deal. Highly recommend!

But, why?

Though it's received some updates, the game is still broken garbage. Avoid it like the plague that depopulated Chernarus. If you have a hankering for Dayz, stick to the Arma mods.

11/10 DLC

Although it has an enjoyable story and was responsible for one of the better Hitman novels, this isn't really a Hitman game. Would have been better in movie or book form. If you want a Hitman game/don't care about story, look elsewhere. That is, unless you're willing to pay full price for access to Sniper Challenge, the only Hitman type experience related to Absolution.

Below average free to play shooter.

This is a good game *BUT* know what you are going into. This game is quite a bit of a grind. Don't be fooled by the flashy trailers, you will need to bankroll that kind of tech. That means working with trading and missions and such. If you like a mix of grinding and combat, then you're in the right place. If you were expecting 24/7 spaceship combat arena, look elsewhere.
