This game kino af y'all just haters

Incredible rail shooter heavily inspired by games like Space Harrier and Night Striker. The Shining Knuckle mechanic adds an exciting high-risk/high-reward factor on top of all of the exciting action. Soundtrack and visuals are also strong positives. The Lightning OverDrive mechanic, a generously regenerating meter that slows down time temporarily, makes this game friendly to beginners of the genre, and helps to rack up score bonuses from clearing formations and bosses. Multiple endings and routes add a lot of replay value, with getting all endings and achievements taking me 7 hours, which is quite lengthy for the genre.

With all that praise being said, there are some minor grievances with the game (as of 7/23/2025, Ver. 1.0.0514.01), one being that it doesn't support internal 4k resolution or anti-aliasing, and it doesn't support true analog control. You can use the analog stick for control, but it operates like an 8-way/d-pad control. It does mean you can use something like a Genesis or Saturn controller perfectly well for this game though, which is quite nice!

In closing, this is an excellent entry to the rail shooter genre, I highly recommend this, and I certainly hope to see more games like this.
