as someone who is not me said, this game is like finding a bunch of very pleasant, very emotional rakes to step on
it's certainly one of my favourite games ever, it has immense talent and care put into it - fully voice acted and animated, one of the best OSTs a game has ever had, and background designs that are so genuinely pretty i wish i could have them as desktop backgrounds
it's not for everyone, it definitely has a target audience - but even if you're not into visual novels, i encourage you to at least try this one out!
if you ARE in the target audience, this is probably one of the most positive, uplifting and heart-wrenching games out there right now
it has the most positive LGBT representation i've seen in any media, and none of it feels forced in any way, and all of these subjects are dealt with in a very careful, respectful way
even besides that, i found myself relating to a lot of the characters in several different ways, their goals, relationships, and anxieties all feel WAY more real and personal than i was prepared for. also the voice acting sells it all so well

tl;dr: good game, fantastic writing, relatable cast, pick it up on sale :]

this game, artstyle and story-wise, is absolutely beautiful
the devs have poured over 5 years worth of passion into this game and it shows in every single second of gameplay
having now beaten the game, i can't think of a single thing i dislike about it
it's not for everyone - there are some heavy themes, and the gameplay is a little hard to get used to, but if you're willing to get past that, you'll find probably the most underrated game of this year
