Guild Wars 2 feels like a drag. The base game is dull, personal story progress is locked behind every 10 levels so that makes the narrative experience choppy, and without mounts (stuck behind an expansion) makes traveling a chore. Combat is whatever... and you only have 5 weapon abilities and that makes the fighting very repetative and boring. It would be more fun if you could have more abilities available in the hotbar to spice the gameplay up.

I find it a bit weird when characters are talking together, there is this own scene that comes up where they are facing each other and characters are just fading in and out when talking. I would have liked it more if they are were in the main world and a camera would cut between the two, or pan, or whatever. This is just a personal take.

The world building however is amazing and I love exploring the interior and exterior of the cities and capitals. I love that the world have secrets to be discovered if you just are a bit curious. There is a nice variety when it comes to characters design, like plant people Sylvari, Asura that is the smart kinds, Charr which is bison people?, regular humans, and Norn which is just... bigger humans? There is some nice armor and weapons in the game, so you could get some good drip to show off to others.

Perhaps I am in the wrong as this is a Very Positive reviewed game, but perhaps it is just not for me, but I am glad if YOU like it and enjoy playing it.
