I chuckled a few times while playing the game. The dialogue is great, the art style is lovely, and the animations are awesome. I only wish that the twist was better, but I don't regret playing the game. It was enjoyable all throughout and with the exception of a single puzzle, I never felt stuck.

Very innovative mechanic and a good story to top it off. I highly recommend.

The soundtrack is excellent and the art style is attractive. The writers are also clearly good with words, and so I'm disappointed to say that I didn't enjoy the story. I found the main characters to be lacking strong motivations. For example, Why did Kay, after landing on John's pond, decide she wants to enter the ship? Why did Kay go to such extreme measures to try to find her brother? Wouldn't the normal thing have been to wait home? Why did Kay all the sudden developed an interest in finding what happened to her mom, going as far as to kill a few guards and sneak into a factory? I found a few of the characters annoying. Why is Lucky referring to himself in third person? Why does LeBranc say "bruh" after every sentence? And the slang doesn't come off naturally from the characters. They tried to convey a sense of streetness to some people but in my opinion it ended up mocking them more than anything else. Reactions were unbelievable: There's a giant bird which is eating a floating ball and Catherine's reaction was to just go with it. People die in front of a young girl and she just moves on. . As a final point, for a game about faith and religion, there wasn't a single character which I thought understood either of these things, and I was confused on what the writers were conveying to me. Was the ending meant critique religion as a way of locking salvation to only a chosen group of people? Was the game telling me that everyone has faith regardless of whether they have religion? Was it saying that religion is the same thing as what anthropologists say it is, that it simply serves the function of uniting a people and giving them faith at the cost of deluding them? I'm simply not sure what to think when the prophet is called "Ditch Man" and he uses psychedelics and backbiting to infiltrate into his "Ark" and launch into space (non-spoiler: when the only guy who represents religion is totally high and weird).

The first Act of the game got me really interested due to the amazing soundtrack and art, but in the end, I was disappointed by the writing and ending.

I must've played this game 4 or 5 times so far. The game is incredibly fun, but I know there is some hate on the "bad game design", so I want to take a minute to address that.

Firstly, I'd like to say that the game does give you a lot of options and equipment for stealth, just as much as going in full blasting. Because you can use everything with stealth in mind. In fact it's probably easier to go stealthy than to go in full blasting, assuming you're fine with getting your hands dirty.

What about going the non-lethal route? You do get less equipment than normal, but that's not a "design problem." You can still spend your money on a lot of good upgrades and crossbow ammunition. The powers are somewhat lacking also, but I don't think that's a problem. It makes the game very challenging and fun. One of my problems is that the game was kind of easy, especially when you're playing with a lethal style. Playing non-lethal with only Blink made a lot of the levels much more interesting for me, I had to actually start using the level to my advantage. It especially becomes more difficult when you get to the second part of the game, but not enough to make me frustrated.

The game also isn't long enough for it to get boring, I beat the entire game Clean Hands and Blink only in a single 7 hour session (I know it wasn't good for me). It's relatively short to other games and has a ton of ways of being played, I'd recommend this game to just about anybody really. It's extremely fun. The DLC is good too.

This game has a lot of potential, but as it currently is, I find this game to be way too easy.

At first I was playing with my Steam Controller since it was recommended, and I did find it kind of tough with a controller since I'm not really good with those things. But I saw that the controls were simple enough for a keyboard to handle, so I gave it a try.

I was able to steamroll this game completely, even with the new level. I barely took hits and did an amazing amount of damage. How, you might ask? Well you start by upgrading your damage, then once that's level 4, you start upgrading your health indefinitely. Since you can do level 4 damage, you can pick the weapons that have the most bullets in a single round. The fact that they do low damage doesn't matter, because you'll be shooting a lot of those, and each one will pack a punch since you have level 4 damage. You got hit? No problem, you'll probably have somewhere from 200 to 300 health by now, and you'll eventually be able to heal it with items you find.

The cover system in this game also does a lot of work to help you win battles. They take LOTS of damage before they collapse, and by the time they do, you can just jump to new cover. You can also shoot from them as much as you want with no risk of getting damaged by the enemy. But I'm usually able to clear the area before I even need new cover.

You can also just leave the room if you're feeling stressed, the melee enemies will come at you one at a time and you can deal with those that way. The ranged guys just stay in their place or move in their little circle.

Some smaller problems include things like the monologues that this guy gives. There are cases where he'll start talking, and you can't even control your character or accept a quest until he's finished. That can get annoying, especially after the first time playing. The doors are also useless, and long corridors feel useless, especially when you're walking back to find another route, which brings me to another point, dead ends also feel useless, and that becomes noticeable when you have to walk back through 5 different rooms to get to your alternate route, which there are plenty of.

But as I said in the beginning, there's still a lot of potential. The graphics looks really nice, nothing bad can be said about that. The soundtrack is also nice, and there seems to be an interesting story that could be achieved. However, if I am to replay this game countless of times as intended, I think spicing up the difficulty should be something to consider. I can't say that this game needs more variation, because I don't know what that could bring to the table, all I'm saying is to somehow make the game more difficult.

TL;DR
- Looks promising, but right now it's too easy. Why?
- You do way too much damage
- The cover system is way too reliable
- Enemies are very weak compared to you
- Either there are way too many upgrade locations, or that each upgrade can give you a huge boost.
- The third upgrade is basically useless when compared to the first two

One of the best stealth games I've played. And also, even though it says I have 8 hours, I actually played the original too. So I have a total of 31 hours. I beat this game 3 or 4 times, I started losing count.

Point being, this game is absolutely amazing, so much fun to be had.

Mount and Blade Warband. What do you do? You recruit large armies, make your own faction, destroy others, and buy beer for everybody! What else is there? Multiplayer. Siege castles and kill enemies with friends! What else is there? Mods. Fight in civil wars, or with star wars sabers, whichever you prefer! All in all, there's all in one!
