Rust is laggy or stuck on loading screen? Try these steps:

Try verifying files [imgur.com]
Make sure Rust is installed in your SSD and should have enough recommended RAM and minimum requirements [prnt.sc]
Check your CPU and GPU Temps.
Good news, you can cook steak in your CPU!
Turn off Discord Overlay [prnt.sc] ( I think this is fixed, could still be a problem for some players tho)
Lower your settings
Re-install

How to mute people on chat [imgur.com]
*it mutes both chat and in game voice chat*

How to mute a player when they're not on chat:
Press F7 and look for their name via report player tab and just copy their steam ID

Then you can type this in console :


To mute a player "mute Steam ID"
To unmute a player "unmute Steam ID"

To see who you muted just type "chat.mutelist".
you can also just follow the instruction it says when you want to unmute a specific player [prnt.sc]
