A Beautiful Journey Through Feudal Japan – Singleplayer at Its Best

Ghost of Tsushima is one of those rare games where everything comes together to create a truly memorable singleplayer experience. From the moment you step into its version of feudal Japan, it’s hard not to be impressed by the atmosphere, presentation, and sheer attention to detail.

The singleplayer campaign is clearly the star of the show. Exploring Tsushima is an absolute joy—riding through golden fields, dense forests, misty mountains, and peaceful villages never gets old. The world feels alive and carefully crafted, and I often found myself slowing down just to take in the scenery. It’s one of the few open-world games where exploration feels rewarding simply because the world itself is so beautiful.

The story is captivating from start to finish. Jin Sakai’s journey is well-paced, emotionally engaging, and kept me interested throughout the entire game. The narrative does a great job balancing personal conflict, honor, and sacrifice, making it easy to stay invested in both the main story and many of the side quests.

Gameplay-wise, everything feels smooth and polished. Combat is especially satisfying—responsive, fluid, and challenging without feeling unfair. Switching stances, timing parries, and engaging enemies feels great, and fights rarely become dull. Stealth is also well implemented and offers a solid alternative approach for many encounters.

The PC port deserves special praise. On my end, it ran extremely well with basically zero bugs or technical issues. Performance was stable, controls felt good, and overall it felt like a proper PC release rather than a rushed port.

As for multiplayer (Legends), it was enjoyable for a while, but personally it didn’t hold my interest long-term. It’s fun initially, but quickly becomes repetitive and didn’t hook me the same way the singleplayer did. Thankfully, this doesn’t take away from the core experience, as the main campaign is more than strong enough on its own.

Final Verdict:
If you’re looking for a strong, story-driven singleplayer experience set in a stunning open world, Ghost of Tsushima absolutely delivers. The visuals, story, combat, and PC performance make it an easy recommendation—especially for those who value immersive singleplayer adventures.

Review for Days Gone

I never had the chance to play Days Gone on console, so when it came to PC, I finally decided to dive in — and I’m really glad I did. The port is excellent: smooth performance, great visuals, and zero issues on my end. It feels like the game was always meant to be here.

From the start, I was hooked. The story grabbed me right away and didn’t let go until the credits rolled. It’s one of those rare games where you genuinely start to care about the characters and their struggles. The emotional beats hit hard, and the world feels alive (well… as alive as a zombie-infested wasteland can be).

Gameplay is equally satisfying. Riding through the open world on your bike feels great, and there’s always something to do — whether it’s clearing out infestations, hunting down marauders, or just taking on massive hordes of freakers for fun. The side quests add a lot of depth too, without ever feeling like filler.

But the real highlight here is the story. It’s heartfelt, gritty, and beautifully told. By the end, I realized I wasn’t just playing to survive — I was playing to see what happens next.

9.5/10 — A gripping, emotional ride through a broken world. One of the best PC ports I’ve played, and an absolute must for story-driven fans.
