No chat push notifications

No push notifications show up on my Android phone if someone messages me on Steam. I only notice if anyone has messaged me by manually checking through the chat messages list for new messages.

This issue also exists on the Steam app.

I am not logged in to any PC, only the Steam Chat app.

Same for me. Notifications didn't work half the time on the normal Steam app. I'm on a Google Pixel XL.

I have the same issue as well -- No push notifications whatsoever. I still having it for 1 month now and no bug fixes regarding this has been released.
I thought this new steam mobile chat could have fix that, guess what? It didn't do jack. However one odd point, it works just fine with my other phone (main account that it's logged in) -- I get notified there but not here (alt account).

Same here. Also, when i close the app (without killing the process), it goes offline in less than a minute.
(Android 7.1.1)

I agree, push notifications aren't working properly on both steam app and steam chat app (android)

It finally got fixed after 1 month of having this issue. Not sure for how long you guys have had it tho. Read the Steam app and Steam Chat app update notes for further information.

I'm getting the push notifications on iOS now, which is great! But for some reason my phone doesn't vibrate with these notifications. All other notifications cause it to vibrate, and I have checked the settings to ensure this is set up for the Steam Chat app and Steam App
