There is another theory in the wild. That Eak doesn't mean something, but stands for it. Perhaps Erik A Kaverly. I now his last name has a C but you can't very well be called Eac. Mind you that his name also ends in a K instead of a C, which could lead him down the same path for his picking his unique handle. So it's quite easy to see why he came to that frame of mind. Yes critics were a bit hard on Eak 4. Though his best work is obviously "Eak 7 1/5 Lost in Space/Time/Some More Space" and deserved the emmy in best ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ movie ever.
