Actual earnings were not consistent with my receipt...
I sold my Dota 2 accessory for 16JPY.
Steam Guard confirmation said I would receive 14JPY.
After the item was sold, the receipt also showed that I received 14JPY,
but according to my market history, I actually only got 11JPY.

It seems that this issue occurs in multiple transactions of mine.
Is it a bug or not?
I hope this issue can be resolved.

Read other discussions from yesterday, U are not the only one with this "issue"

Market fee % has changed for all Community :2016trophy:
They have increased the Steam market fee for those with currencies that are worth less than the USD
I have checked with a friend who uses Euros and they are still paying the same amount of fee as before.

Yeah, I've already noticed that before posting this.

I don’t think it’s about the market fee, since some receipts are consistent with my actual earnings. Even when selling the same accessory at the same price, I did receive exactly 14 JPY in some transactions. Even if they changed the fee structure, it should still be fixed, right? Also, if I were supposed to receive less than expected, Steam Guard as well as the receipt should notify me instead of showing the wrong earnings.

So maybe the issue is that someone is buying the accessory at a lower price than what I set... I guess?
hi, I sold some trading cards on the Steam Market and, just like you, I also got less than what Steam estimated. It’s annoying because even when I confirmed the sale on the Steam mobile app, it showed the amount I was supposed to receive. This only happened with the cards bought by users paying in yen. So does that mean I basically have to pray the buyer uses another currency? :7Days1:

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one facing this issue, but it's still pretty frustrating…

I originally wanted to contact Steam support with the transaction IDs from my receipts, but I couldn’t find any way to submit a report, so all I can do is post here…

Let's wait and see if they can handle this problem…

I like your joke, but most of the world's citizens don't live in the euro or dollar zone. These euro or dollar currencies should have only an indirect influence on the majority, and this influence should not be harmful

ok, then submit a ticket to Steam Support so mister Gaben would know, as he cares too much about these, Steam is a make-money platforn, not just a gaming platform, sad thing that some of U realize this too late, after buy all kind of useless items, and now U don*t know what to do will all that junks that U don*t even use them in-game
The cheaper is the item - the higher commission they take now :steamsad:
Then go get the expensive ones

Also consider that your location îs Russia .. U will have to deal with that sanctions that USA have against Russia, some of them are related with anything that money cam buy ( that means Steam items, too )

my guess is that they want those with "lesser" currencies to pay the same amount of fee as those with higher value currencies such as Euros and USD
because for Euro-countries the market price starts at 0.03 Euros and the seller receives 0.01
in the past those with lesser currencies lets say JPY or Korean won have the same minimum sell price and fee that means they are only getting 0.02 JPY or won for each sale which is way less than Euros or dollars
Gaben and his gaming platform / their market will never lose money, the individaul users will get less, at some point, we all will have to deal with this, if we like it or not, making a discussion at every 2 hours will not change anything.

Same problem exists with the NTD in Taiwan; it's not just JPY.
