Suggestion: Support for choosing multiple/virtual audio channels in recording
Similar to this thread: https://test1.login.steam.hlxgame.cc/groups/SteamClientBeta/discussions/5/4630359023402647875/

I'm using Steelseries Sonar and I quite like it. I also quite like Steam Background recording, but the issue is that even when setting it to record all system audio, or selecting programs manually, it won't pick up any other audio channels on my PC, namely the ones created by Steelseries Sonar.

Ideally I'd like to be able to record Discord etc. in the background of my clips so it doesn't just sound like I'm talking to myself when clipping something that happened in Rematch or Battlefield 6, for example.

I'm visualizing this as adding some kind of checkbox for all the audio channels on the PC, which would support virtual audio devices like Sonar.

I don't really know what changed, but steam background recording seems to detect everything despite having Sonar enabled. I hit "reset all" in windows volume mixer in the control panel settings, dunno if that worked.

**That being said, steam background recording isn't detectinvg my Mic audio - is there any chance we could just get as much control over what devices background recording uses the same way it does for the voice chat and broadcast features in steam??**
Trying my hardest not to make a new thread about this because I'm kind of at my wit's end:

I think there needs to be more settings/testing for audio with steam background recording. I cannot seem to get my microphone to work with steam background recording, even if I disable steelseries sonar. I've spent hours trying every windows microphone setting, disabling and re-enabling things, everything. I don't understand why it's not being detected for this specific purpose. I've even tried deleting my steam config file with no luck.

The "Voice" and "Broadcast" features both have the option to select and test what microphone they use, not sure why background recording doesn't have this option.
