Hello everyone, the day has come for SSK Gaming to celebrate it's 10th year as a gaming community. For the last 10 years SSK has gone from a small Halo clan to a multi-platform gaming community. We were never about how many members we could get to join, but rather more about quality gaming, dedicated members that would contribute to SSK and best of all, making new friends that you will know for a long time.

Having said that, SSK still has a lot of original members that have been here from day one, or at least the first year. To those members I say thank you for staying with us through the years! To all you newer members, welcome to the family!

So starting today and tomorrow, will be holding several get togethers on our Discord server, prize giveaways and some simple, fun gaming events for everyone. I will try to spread some of the events and giveaways out a little, since we have people from all over the world in SSK, that live in different time zones. The start of our first events and get together will start around 6:00pm PST today, or 1:00am GMT.

I encourage everyone to hangout on our Discord server, say hi to people you may not have heard from in a while and to say hi and talk to some of our newer members you may not know. We will be in one of the Discord voice chat channels. Please come into the channel and join the chat. All SSK members are welcome. Oh, and don't be afraid to talk, but if you like, you can just hangout in the voice chat and chill as well.

SSK is more than just a gaming community, I consider ourselves more like a family. Thats the reason people have stayed with us for a very long time, even if they have not been around in a few years. Everyone will always be part of the SSK family.

Now, onward to our 20th anniversary! Just a quick 10 more years away

Hey everyone, hope everyone is hanging in there with all the disruptions going on everywhere.

As most of you may know, this year is the 10th anniversary of SSK. Hard to believe that it was 10 years ago that I started SSK as a Halo clan that very quickly became popular. We have a lot of original members that have been here from day one or close to that length of time. Too those members I would like to say thank you, and to our newer members, Welcome!

So in honor of our 10 years as a gaming community, I have been putting together a get together event for SSK members only. This event is scheduled for June of next month. A specific date and time are currently being worked out, but should be around the middle to latter part of June. Since we have members from all over the world, I will try to set a time frame that will allow most members to participate. I will have a definitive date and time posted within the next week or two at the latest.

The event will be a big get together for all our SSK members. I am doing my best to get a hold of people we haven't heard from in a while, so that they may show up. I have already started contacting those members and several of them have already said they will be attending. It will be a great time to reconnect with SSK members you may not have talked to in a long time.

The event will be held on our Discord server. That way we can meet up and chat with each other. We will also have a few fun gaming events, of which plans are currently in the works. SSK Freniij (Root Admin) will be hosting a live stream on Twitch with live SSK game play as well as hosting our Giveaways!

I am going to have several random giveaways for such things as a Gaming Headset, Gaming Keyboard, Free Games and more, with a grand prize of a Gaming Laptop. Other additional prizes will be given away as well. The giveaways will take place on Freniij's Twitch stream. You will need to be present to win.

So I still have more work to do in order to prepare for this event. I will be posting more specific information in the next week or two. Please make sure to check your messages on our Enjin website (www.sskgaming.com) so you don't miss out. I would also like to ask all of you to start spreading the news around, to other SSK members that you know, that may not check their messages on our Enjin website or who may hangout on Steam.

As you may have heard, Halo Reach is now on PC and the clan is now getting back into it and relive the memories of the old days of Halo.
