And those who think they're talking to support and don't realize that this is just a forum for regular users.
Thirdly, there are those with old bans on their accounts and the strange excuses they come up with.

What is the point of your post anyway? Explain because I don't understand. Thank you.
I just find it really funny, that people who broke rules to the point of being banned for them, are flooding this forum meant for (what I assume) discussing the anti-cheat system and not the bans, making up the craziest excuses of all time, and expecting anything else than being pointed and laughed at, or having their thread locked with an automated reply. I was asking others if they had the same sadistic tendencies as I do when reading this subforum from time to time. This is the point of my post.
I do feel pity for those who had their account hijacked and got banned for something they didn't do. Unfortunately as harsh as it sounds, keeping your account secure is your responsibility. Anyone can claim that a super elite hacker 800km away got access to your steam account, and attempt to dodge responsibility.
Buying accounts is against the rules.
Cheating is against the rules.
In the end, folks over at Valve have the final say on what is and isn't acceptable, as well as what kind of punishment they can dish out. They have access to all the information regarding your account and they take the appropriate action.
If the victims talked to steam support, and they said they couldn't do anything further, end of story. Complaining about it will do nothing at this point.
VAC is like an old lady. And it knows very well what it does, how it does it, and why it does it. It just needs to be given time. True, sometimes it makes a mistake and Valve will remove such a ban itself. I know very well how it works, even the smallest details. I am not that computer literate, but someone very close to me, an IT company that makes specialized software, including for the USA, knows. No one will steal your user account :). That is impossible. But they can do many other things. Today, you can hire a very good hacker for little money. And there is a reason for that. Furthermore, a lot of banned players are naive children. But how many of these children have no upbringing, and how rude they are, it is terrible. You start a match, Premiere, and in the second round they curse your mother, your late father, etc. And then there is the worst group. Those who come here with a goal and intention. And you know that their ban will not be removed, but they come on purpose. They are the worst. And finally, VALVE can remove 50% of cheaters in one day. However, there are formal and legal reasons and that is why it is not possible to achieve this. There is no anti-cheat that is 100% functional because each one can be broken. And VAC has one weakness. The statistics speak for themselves, now multiply that by x years. We come to a huge number of players who have been banned. And yes. many people read this subforum, each for their own reason :). Have a nice day.
Don't talk about something you don't understand. VAC can't recognize what it doesn't know exists. And it can't recognize one more thing. I'm not here to teach cheaters how to cheat, you should have figured that out a long time ago. I'm watching the Major, which every above-average player should. Turn on steamtv, open a coke and enjoy ;-).And don't teach me. Over 35,000 hours of play and with two Faceit lvl10 accounts, we're not equal ;-).
The Xbox suspension forums are hilarious to read as well. Back when I played on that console before switching to PC I'd read the suspension forums just for a laugh. The cheating kids would threaten Xbox and it always just ends with the suspension team posting a reply to them stating that they broke the ToS and the ban would not be lifted.
I can remember seeing a video somewhere on YouTube where they showed how way back then in the early 2010s they would play online in random games and could live ban someone who was cheating as they were playing in the same lobby. They had the Xbox connected into their system somehow that allowed them to actively ban anyone they confirmed was cheating as they were in the same game match as the cheater.
Wish I could find that video as it would be interesting to show you.
