Account compromised
I’ve been away from home the past week and when I checked my CS2 inventory earlier on the app, I noticed some new knives in my inventory. My heart sank and I instantly went to reverse the trade expecting all of my more valuable items to be gone, but there were no suspicious trades. Turns out someone located in Russia was able to sign into my account without compromising my email account. They have been opening my sticker capsule collection and trading up all of the skins in my storage unit and collection up to knives. They also changed my name to something Russian and wiped my entire friends list. I have logged out of all devices and am yet to see the hijacker’s PC in my devices since then but I am hoping for some advice on how to better secure my account. Also am wondering if steam support is able to reverse the trade-ups since the hijacker deleted some really nice skins that were a part of my collection. 😞

Nope, your items are lost. Anything lost cannot be returned. Sounds like you got phished.
Follow steps 1-6 to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://test1.login.steam.hlxgame.cc/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

1. Don't fall for phishing schemes (oops i accidentally reported your account or vote for my team)
2. Do not use external skin trading sites, they call them scam sites for a reason and the vac forum is full of people who lost entire accounts due to using them.
3. Do not install malware.
