steam download speed over wifi using hdd

i have 5gbps wifi and im using a hdd to install gta, im averaging 6-9 mb/s download speed but peak is 40 mb/s

if i use ssd, it will be slightly faster maybe 10-12 mb/s although sometimes it will avg 8-10 mb/s.

is this normal download speed?

That depends. First & foremost, it depends on whether you're using MB or Mb. The unit "mb" doesn't exist. There's no millibits, you're making this up. So please report the actual unit.

Next, it depends on your internet connection. Run a speed test and report results. Again, in real units, not made-up.
