I think a nuclear sharing agreement with either the UK, France or both (or even a shared EU arsenal) would benefit everyone involved.

Germany signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty in 1969 and ratified it in 1975. Every country in the world has signed it except for India, Pakistan, Israel and South Sudan (only became a country in 2011, hasn't signed yet) which have not signed the treaty. North Korea did sign it, but withdrew from the treaty in 2003.

The world is changing. We have envious nuclear powers blackmailing us. Treaties can be terminated if circumstances require it. Germany is the fourth strongest economic power. We must defend our interests. I want the US to withdraw. They only cause discord.

A little deterrence is nothing. If necessary, you have to be able to shoot the aggressor in the eye. Once and for all. To make it clear that foreign world powers have no business here.
